Today at six am when I was on my way to train a client I heard a popular song on the  radio that a client of mine really likes..it has words like "staring at the blank space before you ..open up the dirty window" "release your inhibitions, feel the rain on your face, no one else can feel it for you...no one else can let it in.....the rest is still unwritten..." The song really inspires this petite blond client of mine, Cheryl,  because she has recently been forced to go through an difficult divorce and has had to dig deep inside herself and find her gifts and begin to live her life in a new way. Her spiritual strength is an inspiration to me and it is individuals like her who know how to go on in spite of adversity, who know how to use difficult situations to build their own character, that make the world a better place with the "book that they are writing with their actions". My dad once said the only thing someone cannot take away from you is your character. For many of us the effort to live a good life and have integrity and love for others is a constant challenge, but it is a goal worth striving for and is never impossible, just like losing weight or exercising is never impossible.
