Children have a natural interest in activity. They run everywhere and enjoy learning how to use their bodies doing things that help them feel the world around them. As people mature, often that natural exuberance for daily activity diminishes and people become sedentary. BUT, swinging on a swing IS fun and many adults could recapture the enthusiasm for fitness by remembering the innocence of children. Houston personal trainer Melissa tells her clients to do things the LOVE to do such as jumping rope, or playing ping pong, or going swimming, or playing tag. These games are not just for children. Those WITH children have the perfect excuse to get back out on the playing field. Daily activity will create a lifetime of fitness that makes for a healthier future for those who make workouts and fun activities a priority.
