Eat Less food by using smaller dinner plates is a great weight loss tip!
nov_19_079It is not secret that people, even those trying to achieve weight loss, have a hard time trying not to eat the wrong food at parties or when eating out. To help combat weight gain it is smart to do a number of small things to keep hard earned  weight loss stable. First of all, before just focusing on the nutrition, remember that it is important to keep up with Houston and The Woodlands Personal training workouts and be consistent  in order to continue to progress.
But a really good tip, along with the Personal Training workouts is to grab a smaller plate when eating out or at parties  because studies have shown that people tend to fill up the plate with food. Smaller plates will help limit overindulgence. Also it is smart to provide water or unsweetened ice tea as an alternative to calorie laden sodas.  It would be a shame to have worked so hard to lose a few pounds and then gain it all back due to some poor eating choices. Watch fat intake and make sure it is olive oil or unsaturated fats that are used on breads or in cooking and watch the pounds drop off. AND EAT TURKEY for a great low fat protein source. Real food is always better than the alternatives. Photo of Houston personal trainer melissa setting the table for her dinner party.
