Vinegar diet can help with weight loss but does not take the place of exercise in Houston Texas! Print E-mail
bikini Losing weight is the primary focus of most individuals who have hired me as their personal trainer in Houston. Having done workouts with hundreds of in home personal training clients, I have encouraged drinking apple cider vinegar (teaspoonful in water) as a natural way to help with weight loss. Vinegar works to help my Houston personal training clients lose weight in three different ways.First, it blocks carbs because there is evidence that the acetic acid in vinegar reduces the intestinal enzyme activity so fewer calories from starch enter the system. Second, vinegar helps me as a personal trainer, and my clients, to eat less because if taken before a meal, it reduces post meal blood sugar by up to 81% so cravings for salty and sugary snacks go away. Third, by evening out blood sugar levels, vinegar also limits production of the fat storage hormone insulin.
I recommend that my Houston personal training clients take the vinegar in one of three ways (Apple cider vinegar is the best because it has the most acetic acid which is what makes it potent):
1)Drink a few teaspoonfuls of apple cider vinegar in a large eight to twelve ounce glass of sparkling water in the morning before breakfast and even before a workout, and again before lunch and dinner..(hold your nose the smell is pretty overpowering)
2)Make a vinegrette of cider vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper and eat it on cucumbers before you eat a meal.
3)Eat one or two large dill pickles before you eat a meal. This weight loss strategy facilitates workouts and is promoted by several Houston personal trainers. It is documented in a study done in Arizona State University by Carol Johnston, Ph.D. where a team of scientists discovered that the vinegar helped dieters lose on average a half a pound a week.
