Personal Trainers Should Provide a Safe Workout Environment Print E-mail
Personal Trainers in Houston should provide a safe environment for the in home personal training client to exercise in. Each personal training client I have wants to receive the most fitness in the least amount of time, so preventing any injuries is critical.

When doing in home personal training, the floor should be non-skid and clutter free and there should be adequate lighting in order for the personal trainer to see if proper form is being used during the exercises. The weights and equipment used should be appropriate for the fitness level of the client and yet should continually challenge them. As an In home Houston Personal Trainer, I pride myself on making sure each set a client performs is done effectively, with proper form and forces the client to exert the most effort necessary for fitness and performance gains. When taking the personal training outside, more variables exist in the workout but the personal training client is also able to experience a greater range of workout possibilities. With cycling, the bike needs to fit the client, for example, or with inline skating, the client needs to be outfitted with all the padding and helmet and comfortable fitting skates. Proper clothing for the weather fluctuations is important as well as having proper shoes and having adequate hydration available. Sunscreen and protective headgear is also critical in the Houston heat.  Providing workout varieties  which take advantage of the great outdoors is one way I help my clients to cross train, which helps prevent injuries.  The variety also makes the personal training workouts more "personal" and fun and will encourage exercise adherence.
