Which quick frozen dinners help eliminate the excuse "I do not have time to cook healthy to lose weight"? |

Almost all Houston Personal Training clients are able to do the workout routines when they sign on with a personal trainer. Most are also able to do the smart eating plan in the very beginning. But when the going gets tough, Houston Personal Trainer Melissa has heard every excuse in the book. (I don't have time to cook so I have to eat out...I dont like vegetables...My doctor said that vegetables are making me allergic...My kids, husband, friends are eating all the stuff I want to eat so its too hard to eat different than them...healthy food is way more expensive than fast food and I can't afford it...I won't give up my wine at night, or my soda or my ice cream or my starbucks mocha frappachino...I never had to watch what I ate before and I don't like having to pay attention to it now....I work out hard so I should be able to eat what I want right?) Houston Personal trainer Melissa has learned that each client has to have a "conversion experience" where they realize that the immediate satisfaction of "eating a doughnut" is not worth the long term regrets of not meeting weight loss goals. These goals, mutually determined by the Houston Personal Trainer and the client, were set because the client wants to feel better about their health and appearance and is willing to make changes. It eventually happens with some clients..but a few just never really WANT TO make the self control choices that will lead to their success.
"No one is busier than me" said Houston Personal Trainer Melissa, "so I could just as easily use excuses for letting myself go, but I don't." In fact, recently I had a bet that I was able to lose five pounds by a certain date and I don't even really want to lose weight, but I wanted to prove a point that weight loss is just a matter of mathematics..ie. food intake has to be less than energy expended for a net calorie loss."" I found that Weight watchers "SMART ONES" (what a perfect name for them) frozen meals are a great time and money saver..I particularly like the chicken marsala, the chicken sante fe, and the roast beef". "The chicken sante fe is only 140 calories with only 2.5 grams of fat and 20 grams of protein..it is delicious and healthy and real food ( instead of engineered foods such as canned shakes or protein bars.)" Houston Personal Trainer Melissa is always looking for more "weighs" to lose weight!! =) Here is a photo of Houston Personal trainer Melissa ready to go train a client.
