What to Look for when hiring a personal trainer in San Jose California Print E-mail
dsc00040Personal trainers should first and most importantly be fit themselves. They do not have to be model beautiful but their bodies should reflect a healthy lifestyle because if they are not fit then how can they get you fit.
For example, in this photo, San Jose and Los Gator personal trainer Stephanie, who is playing volleyball, has a fit and lean body based on years of  fitness and proper eating.  Personal Trainers vary their approaches in making a san jose client have fitness, however some things should be consistent with each workout. If I were to hire a San Jose or Los Gatos Personal trainer for myself to improve my fitness, here is some of what I would want to have at every workout.
Good communication is fundamental. Personal trainers are skilled and extremely knowledgeable, but if they have a difficult time relaying information to clients in an understandable way then that fitness information cannot help the client. Communication should be relaxed and fun but informative.
Each workout with a San Jose personal trainer should include warm up, strength training, cardio, a cool down and stretching, all of which is necessary for fitness. The personal trainer should also review what the client is eating and comment on it every time they workout.
Each San Jose California fitness workout should be slightly different or slightly more difficult than the workout before and the Personal trainer should keep a written record of the workouts in detail.
Each Personal training session with a San Jose or Los Gatos peronal trainer should provide one new piece of information relevant to the client about working out that will benefit the client and help them progress toward doing the fitness workouts on their own.
MOST importantly, I would recommend that a personal trainer have some ort of goal accountability. I can do hardcore workouts in Houston by myself but a personal trainer should be able to focus my efforts and help me to achieve my weight loss and workout goals more effectively and faster.(Below is a photo of Houston Personal Trainer Melissa looking in a mirror to decide what goals she wants to achieve with her appearance
