Numerous studies show that a Personal Training workout can boost energy levels as much as 100 percent for 90 minutes straight. In the below photo, Personal Trainer In Colorado, Melissa, takes her workouts outside near the Collegiate peaks.

By getting outside in the bright light of the Houston sun or in the bright lights of a Houston gym with a Houston Personal trainer, the body will get pumped up. This is because getting out of a dimly lit room prevents the brains pinneal gland from producing melatonin which makes a person groggy. beach_feb_8_066
Melissa, an  experienced Houston Personal Trainer, goes outside with personal training workouts to best suit each individual lifestyle, and outside is always the preference because she loves how the outdoors provides that kick that many are not even aware that they need. Even a brisk five minute walk when feeling fatigued can effectively boost energy levels. Even if a person cannot get outside, it can still be helpful to do thirty minutes on an indoor treadmill when office  routines become exhausting. It is like scheduling a private personal training session with the treadmill and can be just the jumpstart a person needs in the middle of the afternoon.
Other ways to increase wakefulness when tired is to cut down on coffee..it causes sleepiness later in the day.. or, pump up dopamine levels..dopamine is found in oats, eggs, ricotta, cottage cheese..and it can boost  mental alertness by 40 percent within an hour. Any lite meal such as beans or peas can improve energy and alertness too.

houston_personal_trainer_on_her_way_to_a_workoutWhat is it you LOVE to do? Do you love writing or do you love sports and fitness and working out? What about socializing..are you someone who really enjoys being with other people? What about being helpful..are you someone who likes to be nurturing toward other people? Do you like feeling good about yourself and teaching others ways to feel more positive about themselves as well.  How about cooking? Do you have fun figuring out ways to eat gourmet meals that are still lean and tasty? Do you feel confident enough to allow all your hard work to be documented with pictures?

I love all of the above and it is what makes my business as a personal trainer so rewarding because I get to do all the things I love the most. There are many personal trainers out there who have called me to ask how I am able to keep getting new clients and many of these personal trainers have very many impressive credentials. They cannot understand why they have difficulty getting the attention of the general public and getting potential workout clients interested in their services. I believe that a significant number of personal trainers are athletes who like being in the gym and become personal trainers because it allows them access to the gym, but in reality they are not really that hot on helping someone else get to their goals. The personal training is a means to an end.
Great personal trainers will become very invested in their clients and will try to learn how to get to the CORE reason for weight problems and fitness or exercise problems. They need to have credentials, yes, but they also need to ENJOY helping others achieve progress and have good communication skills for conveying that attitude. Workouts can be fun, relaxed and yet very effective when a lot of education is being conveyed during the time spent exercising and working out.
